Welcome to the wonderful world of caring for your pregnant & postpartum body and your growing family...we hope to share some valuable insights to enrich your DCBD support.
DC Birth Doulas (DCBD) specializes in bundled pregnancy and postpartum services. This means that in addition to the in-person doula support, we offer live, virtual (with some recorded) opportunities for you to feel supported, several times each week, as you prepare to meet your little one & afterwards. Our clients benefit from meeting with and learning from a variety of birthworkers & educators, as well as connect with other folks who are in a similar situation...Your DCBD Community.

Virtual options to remember for your Bundled support:
As you prepare for your birth experience:
3rd Trimester...don't forget to sign up for your Childbirth & Postpartum education classes (link is in your 1st DCBD welcome email). If you have questions- email Elizabeth@DCbirthdoulas.com
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month during your pregnancy you are invited to attend our drop-in, Zoom Pregnancy Circle 7pm-8pm. Topics are emailed in the weekly newsletter each Tuesday. In general, you will meet one of our doulas on the 2nd Wednesday and we will discuss Infant Feeding with an IBCLC on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
You can attend LIVE pregnancy Mindful Movement on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays (7-7:30pm) or find many recorded options for your convenience.
After little one joins you in your home:
Join your Postpartum Support Circle. It will start on the first Wednesday of each month at 12:30-1:30pm and continue for 4 weeks. If you have any questions- email Elizabeth@DCbirthdoulas.com
Start your gentle recovery process: Here is a list of recorded postpartum movement sessions to help you reconnect with your body, and bond with your baby.
