How we work with your Insurance or Fertility Benefit
Thank you for your interest in working with DC Birth Doulas. It’s great that you have a benefit program that will provide financial support for our services. We have worked with fertility benefit programs for the past few years and developed the following guidance for our clients to provide information and transparency on how we work with these benefit programs. Please review the below information and let us know if you have questions.
We do not bill insurance. We can accept payment by credit card, ACH or some FSA/HSA/benefit credit cards directly. When needed we can provide itemized receipts to submit for reimbursement. Most often you will need to wait until after your baby is born so that we can include your baby’s date of birth in the documents as the date of service
