Lamaze Community Birth Educator Training
Building stronger communities with evidence-based, health equity centered educators.
While the Lamaze Learning Guide is designed to help prepare you to pass the Lamaze Exam, our seminars are designed to help prepare you for the classroom. Our training focuses on principles of adult learning, facilitation skills, and modeling instruction techniques so you will feel prepared to start teaching in your own community. Our training seminar is appropriate for any one who wants to teach birthing families - whether they want to pursue Lamaze certification or begin teaching directly.
The Community Birth Educators program uses a blended learning format, which allows you to start the program requirements online prior to the in-person live virtual classroom portion.
Seminar Fee: $500 USD
Lamaze Educator Scholarships
Community Birth Educators is committed to providing access to education, training, and support for educators from all communities, especially from traditionally under-resourced or represented communities. A limited number of scholarships are available for these priority communities, including BIPOCS (Black, Indigenous, Persons of color, and Spanish-speaking) and LGBTQIA+ communities.
